• Experience writing code in Swift , XCTest and Xcode
• Experience writing and triaging automated software tests (e.g., unit-tests, regression tests, functional tests, stress tests)
• Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate bugs, and consolidating bug reports
• Experience in driving development and deployment of relevant testing tools and infrastructure
• Detail oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with passion for quality processes
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
• Ability to work independently, raise issues and take corrective action
• Keen eye for detail and curiosity

Description

Description Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Services Automation. The Services Central Automation Test Engineering team is looking for a driven and dedicated software engineer. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the unique and phenomenal opportunity to be part of testing the flagship products of Apple Services, Music, App Store, TV, Podcasts and so many more. Our team is responsible for delivering the best in class user experiences to our customers and testing those apps using the latest technologies. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will work in a multi-functional team which is responsible for user visible components on all Apple platforms. You will work closely with software engineers, project managers and other Apple quality teams. You will ensure that Apple delivers the next generation of its software applications with the highest quality by providing foundation frameworks, tests and working with continuous integration testing principals. A mix of automated testing creation supplemented by foundational framework APIs help ensure scale, but need to be able to focus on the larger projects while diving into the small UI details.

Education & Experience

Education & Experience Real-world experience in programming and teamwork is crucial. While a degree in Computer Science is nice, it is not required. Self-taught or experience on the job is valued as much as a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
