Description:Derco Aerospace, Inc., a Lockheed Martin Company, is an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services. Derco is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Electro-Mechanical Technician who is looking for a challenging and diverse work environment. The position requires relocation to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a Monday thru Thursday 4X10 work week.
Technician responsibilities include the troubleshooting and repair/overhaul of Electro-Mechanical aircraft components, operating test equipment and returning the component back to service in an airworthy condition. Quality workmanship and attention to detail is a must. This position reports to the Shop Manager.
Education Requirement of at least high school diploma or equivalent. An aerospace technical degree or higher is a plus.
Basic qualifications include at least two years of electro-mechanical component repair experience; or possession of either a FAA A&P license or repairmen certificate. Aircraft electro-mechanical component repair experience a plus. Basic Excel, Outlook and Word skills are needed

Regulations require that you participate in an alcohol and drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine -Amphetamines – Phencyclidine – MDA (methylenedioxyamphetamine) – Heroin (6-Acetylmorphine) - or a metabolite of these drugs.
