Job Description

Calibration of Engine Management System for Gasoline engine application ( PC, LCV, off highway, Genset etc ) .

Calibration one or more function listed below at Bosch or customer location.

� Base engine calibration & combustion optimization on engine test bed

� PID Control calibration for Rail pressure, idle controller, EGR, Boost etc.

� EPM, Injection system, fuel system calibration & Air charge calibration

� Vehicle function calibration (ex. Cruise control, drivability, Start Stop etc.)

� Special function calibration like ZFC, FBC, FMA, FMO etc.

� Lambda, Dew point detection, Miss fire & Knock calibration and validation

� Emission calibration on engine test bed and on vehicle

� DSM, OBD I & OBD II calibration for different market requirement

� After Treatment Calibration – SCR, DPF, NSC

� Data set Handling (Dataset Creation, Data set management, and delivery delivery)

� Offline pre calibration and validation on labcar

� working in Bosch Technical centers or at OEM facilities

� Support in Field data analysis

� Customer query Handling and support

Qualifications

� Engineering or Master Degree from reputed university. Preferably from Automotive, Mechanical or Electronics or equivalent subject

� Good understanding of Diesel or Gasoline Engines

� Basic understanding of Electronic Engine Control Units, Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electronics.

� Good understanding on Diesel Fuel System (CRDI) or Gasoline Fuel System (MPFI, TGDI )

� Good Exposure in Engine and Vehicle SW functionalities of GS or DS

� Good driving skills for vehicle calibration activities

� Willingness relocate or extensive travel as part of calibration activities.

� Quick in understanding technical relations and consequences.

� Good team-working capabilities.
