Microservices DevOps Engineer at Skai
The Microservices team, part of Skai’s DevOps group, is responsible for providing Skai with a robust platform for provisioning and managing the lifecycle of Microservices and their ecosystem.
Team Responsibilities
- Complete the development of Kubiverse supporting both stateless and stateful resources.
- Develop and maintain supporting services such as API gateway, Feature toggling, APM, Distributed Tracing, and Service Mesh.
- Create and improve dev productivity tools to help streamline the R&D day-to-day work.
- Enhance Skai’s Infrastructure as Code self-service offering to R&D and platform teams.
- Work to modernize Skai’s components, and automate and improve development and release processes.
- Educate and work closely with R&D departments.
What will you be working on?
- Kubiverse - our microservices Kubernetes platform on AWS EKS.
- Cloud Resources as Code - grow our organization's cloud practices and cloud resources library.
- Serverless - start thinking serverless by making lambda functions easy for everyone.
- Feature Flags - develop/integrate a new feature flag solution to replace our CM.
- Support - yes, there are tickets to handle too :)
