Summary

Posted: May 30, 2022 Role Number: 200386050 Do you love crafting elegant solutions to highly complex challenges? Can you intrinsically see the importance in every detail? As part of our System Design and Test Engineering group, you’ll help ensure every Apple hardware design meets our high standards throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll design and build complex systems that consist of various modules inside all our products. You’ll implement calibration and testing processes and develop the instruments, fixtures, infrastructure, and diagnostic software to do it. You and your team will confirm that every product we make performs exactly as intended. Together, our work will be the reason millions of customers feel they can trust their devices every single day. The iPad Division is looking for a full stack software (API,WebUI,Database) engineer to lead the development of rack automation test system. Our team will be responsible for building a service for hardware engineering team that manages test units, perform measurements, experiments and data analysis to find potential problem of various products Apple design & manufacture.

Key Qualifications

Proficient in Python, JavaScript, HTML, Unix / Linux Shell and Git
Experience in API / WebUI / Database deigns to build a software service.
Experience in data analysis of text logs other form of data source.
Understand electronic hardware working model and debug methods.
Understand data statistics and modeling.
Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution
Good communication skill with both Chinese and English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated creative, critical and independent thinking capabilities and troubleshooting skills
This role requires the candidate be in Shenzhen.

Description

Description - Define long term vision and engineering road map - Own coding of automation test system API & Web UI - Collaborate with various different teams (Hardware / Product design / Sensors / Reliability ) to design high quality automated test and experiment. - Analysis data collected and generate visualized reports.

Education & Experience

Education & Experience MS/BS EE/CS degree or equivalent experience
