How You Will Make An Impact thredUP is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, Visual Designer to join our nimble creative team. With proven experience, you will make an impact by working cross functionally, lending vision and insight into your discipline when working with team members to achieve business goals. This role will have you working on a variety of projects, across a diverse set of channels as well as lead creative direction for 360 campaigns. In this Role You'll Get To:

    • Work cross functionally to bring to life promotional and seasonal campaigns that meet brand and business objectives
    • Iterate and innovate on customer retention efforts based on past learnings and data
    • Be a key stakeholder in collaborative projects with other teams – providing valuable feedback, contributions, and positive outcomes
    • Bring creative concepts to life by pitching initial design concepts, producing deliverable assets, and bringing your team and others along on the journey
    • Manage and design assets that captivate and engage consumers across multiple channels including app, web, social media, in-store experience and campaign activations
    • Push the brand forward by implementing and improving upon current brand guidelines while continuing to develop and grow as a designer
    • Partner with creative leaders to up level your work based on feedback, strategy and your own problem-solving skills

What We're Looking For:

    • 2-4 years of experience in print and digital (web and/or mobile) across a variety of channels (paid social, email etc.)
    • Bachelor's degree in design or related field
    • Experience with Figma, Adobe CC and other design and prototyping tools. After Effects and video editing skills is a huge plus
    • Art direction skills and experience leading photo and videos shoots is a huge plus
    • Mastery of principles of design, typography, and color theory
    • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced online environment
    • Effective time management skills when balancing project schedules
    • Strong knowledge of current design trends and customer-centered best practices
    • Unwavering attention to detail, creativity in problem-solving and a willingness and desire to re-examine what you know in order to continually challenge your creativity
    • Ability to present clear ideas and concepts that solve our complex business problems with on-brand and culturally relevant solutions
    • While you will not be required to code anything, knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript and experience collaborating with engineers is a plus
