Our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Department is responsible for developing Body Computer Modules, Secure Central Gateways and Vehicle Security Products. With capabilities covering end-to-end the complete Development and New Product Introduction process we are managing and implementing global platform projects, tailored for our Original Equipment customers.

Job Description

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Student Validation Reliability Engineer to join our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions on a full time, maximum term basis for 12 months commencing July 2022 located at our headquarters in Clayton.

You will gain invaluable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our Cross-Domain Computing Solutions team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include:

  • assisting engineers in the coordination and execution of the validation test program for automotive and non-automotive products against industry standards
  • providing support to engineers in the documentation of software requirements for testing and implementation of software test cases
  • supporting engineers in the design, testing and release of test systems for use in validation test programs
  • executing general administrative work
  • preparing samples for testing & evaluation
  • assisting laboratory supervisor in building of samples and prototype electronic control units

Qualifications

You will have excellent attention to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, work well with teams and have excellent organisational and communication skills.

To be considered for our Student Program, you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • be currently enrolled in an Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering Undergraduate degree
  • demonstrate good understanding of electronic circuit and mechanical design theory
  • demonstrate experience with reading Schematics and Wiring diagrams
  • sound knowledge of 2D & 3D mechanical drawings
  • understanding of programming languages (C, C++, VBA, Python, Labview)
  • practical knowledge of CAD tools ( AutoCad, ProE, Altium)
