Who you are:

You are a highly self-driven, organized and proactive Human Resources professional with a strong track record in partnering and providing guidance for business teams of all sizes. Reporting to the Senior Director, People Operations, you will help oversee all aspects of People Operations including immigration, compliance, onboarding, offboarding and more. You will help to build, improve and maintain scalable processes, and can quickly pivot from execution to strategy across all People Operations areas.

You pay close attention to process improvement and scalability of our processes, and are not afraid to suggest changes and find a better way. You demonstrate the critical ability to advocate for employees while also protecting the best interest and business needs of the company. You love solving problems and serving as a guide to employees. You aren’t above rolling up your sleeves to be hands-on and can also step back to add a high level, balanced perspective. You understand the importance of a highly satisfied, happy and well-supported workforce when it comes to our People Operations processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support across all People Operations functions where needed, such as, onboarding / offboarding, benefits administration, immigration, payroll, HRIS management, etc.
  • Partner closely with the People Business Partners and other Centers of Expertise to build, manage and execute HR processes and policies
  • Lead weekly onboarding sessions, in close partnership with People team members
  • Serve as point-of-contact for day-to-day employee questions
  • Process and review background checks as part of the onboarding process
  • Maintain data integrity across our HR tech stack throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Working closely with our Director, HRIS, help to own and oversee all HR technology systems
  • Manage US leave of absences, including parental leave, sick leave, military leave, etc.
  • Oversee US immigration, including: processing visas, partnering with outside immigration counsel, updating our philosophy and approach as needed, coordination with managers and employees, etc.
  • Ensure we’re up-to-date for US compliance considering local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Assist with US payroll including working closely with the payroll department
  • Partner with the legal team regarding employee paperwork, updates and data accuracy
  • Continuously drive improvement, scalability and innovation for all People team programs

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Master's degree in HR-related field or accredited HR certification a plus
  • 5+ years of global Human Resources experience within a technology company
  • Deep knowledge of Human Resources practices and demonstrated success in providing solutions to leadership in a complex and fast moving environment
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and working in an environment which requires flexibility; includes experience developing/delivering presentations or having discussions across a variety of audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail
