Braze is growing rapidly and seeking someone to help us scale our procurement operations. Reporting to the Sr Dir of Procurement , this new position on the Finance team will be responsible for global activities related to the operational workflow for the procurement of corporate goods and services including technology, marketing, facilities, etc. As the Procurement Operations Analyst you will be an instrumental core member of the team tasked with driving efficiency and controls in our purchasing process. You will do this through the implementation of tools, automations and controls. We are looking for someone who can collaborate extremely well with internal partners like Accounting, Legal, Security, and Finance as well as internal stakeholders to develop and execute our procurement to pay lifecycle to align with business requirements and exceed objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Become the point person for all procurement workflow related queries
• Cross-functionally partner and work with Global Finance Team, Legal, IT, Security, and AP to ensure procurement operations excellence
• Troubleshoot with internal customers regarding PO, Supplier, and Invoice issues
• Participate in the supplier onboarding process and manage the supplier registration and collection of requisite documentation
• Provide guidance to Braze employees at all levels on purchasing processes
• Assist and train end users with the creation of Purchase Orders and all other Coupa activities
• Implement a robust internal control process that supports the business and is SOX compliant
• Support updating supplier data to help AP resolve payment issues
• Design and iterate analytics and reporting metrics and dashboards to help measure and maintain operational success
• Support other ad hoc projects as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or partner management
• Understanding of Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, and PR/PO lifecycle
• Experience with Coupa is a plus
• Basic understanding of contracts
• Basic understanding of supplier management
• Technology contract experience with SaaS, Subscription, and Marketing is a plus, but not needed
• Financial, tech and process-savvy person who loves to improve processes, systems and tools that benefit our teams and internal customers and partners
• Team player with collaborative style and proven track record of building successful relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Enjoy learning new technology, and you have deep experience configuring and continuously improving various procurement operations tools, systems and supporting software tools like; Coupa, Netsuite, JIRA and contract management systems
• Sound judgment with the knowledge to resolve complicated matters while maintaining integrity and confidentiality
