Casper is looking for a senior digital product designer to join our E-commerce experience design team. This position will report to the Design Manager who oversees the digital product design team. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering as well as partners in Data & Analytics, consumer research, content writing, brand marketing and other disciplines to contribute to the strategy of and experience design for our product. This Digital Product Design role will be focused on working together to evolve our commerce experience, both near-term and long-term, as you help the team navigate towards new areas of opportunity, launches, strategic initiatives and cross functional visibility as Casper moves into its next chapter of growth. You will help raise our bar of product excellence as we prioritize building beautiful, usable, desirable experiences that educate consumers and are grounded in inclusive design principles that center usability and accessibility.

Our ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of work with demonstrated success building engaging and beautiful digital experiences. Multidisciplinary work experiences, portfolio and great storytelling preferred.

When you’re not catching zzz’s, this is what you’ll do

  • Solid experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Place our diverse customer segments at the center of the design process by working closely with them to understand their needs to determine the prioritization and desirability of requirements
  • Rapid prototyping and wireframing to illustrate users' needs and to help refine business requirements for A/B testing.
  • Consistently deliver high quality design artifacts to depict finished products
  • Work side-by-side with Consumer Insights, Product, Engineering and Data Analytics teams to ensure feasibility, scope, and implementation of designs
  • Collaborate with our team to identify UX metrics for success and how to measure them
  • Define and promote UX process best practices
  • Champion appropriate usage and growth of design system

Our dream candidate has...

  • 4+ years of beautiful UX with a track record of delivering results
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a UX/HCI, graphic design, or related field.
  • Empathy for users' needs and passion for understanding business use cases
  • Experience working in an agile, iterative development process
  • Proficient knowledge of UX research and design tools and methodologies
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities, motivated by a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and adhere to deadlines
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across roles such as engineering and product management
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple levels; experience communicating with stakeholders and agency partners a plus
  • Figma Design systems experience is preferred but not required
  • Able to work with teams across multiple stakeholders in a remote environment
  • Brand driven commerce background preferred but not required
