Job Description

We’re looking for a program manager to join our distributed team, overseeing projects and tasks for our editorial, customer marketing and analyst relations programs. This role will join a multidisciplinary team, focused on highlighting the amazing work and contributions of the global open source community and our customers. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, this person will be a key contributor to our day to day operations, establishing and managing timelines and workflows, documentation, procuring vendors, and generally working to ensure the “fly-wheel” of our programs are running efficiently. Opportunities for special projects as we grow and scale our team will be available.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely within the Customer & Insights Marketing team, including Editorial (60%), Customer Marketing (+/- 20%), and Analyst Relations (+/- 20%) program teams to understand and support the rhythm of business and project workflows
  • Support day to day operations, including:
    • Monitoring and maintaining editorial timelines
    • Identifying risks and blockers, including assessment of resourcing needs and proposing solutions
    • Digital asset collection and management, working across internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely delivery and alignment on inputs/outputs.
    • Maintaining program documentation including playbooks, content and design style guides, tooling guides, templates and release checklists
    • Distributing, collecting and storing compliance documentation
    • Coordinating long and short-term projects with cross-functional stakeholders
    • Managing and tracking meeting agendas and action items.
    • Review editorial program and website materials to ensure information is complete and accurate.
  • Support customer and community engagement with our various programs through consistent, timely, and organized communications.
  • Vendor enablement, including: Procurement and onboarding of vendors; managing and tracking renewals and systems access; documenting processes and procedures and establishing strong working relationships with Finance, Legal, and Procurement partners
  • Managing coordination of photography sessions with vendors and customers
  • Asset collection and delivery to support social media campaigns
  • Special projects as needed to support the team

Qualifications

  • Project or program management (or coordinator) experience within a marketing, editorial, communications, creative, or administrative team or other related experience.
  • Experience working with distributed (remote) teams and optimizing for asynchronous work and communications
  • Experience partnering with external customers, clients, and agencies to coordinate and track project work
  • Demonstrated capacity to identify risks and blockers, proposing solutions and following through to meet project timelines
  • Track record for being organized and detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Exceptional team player with a naturally curious mind; eager to collaborate among other internal teams to iterate on existing ideas
  • Knowledge or experience working with procurement and finance teams to onboard vendors is a plus
  • Knowledge or experience working with copywriters, social media, video, or photography teams is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge or experience with Contentful, Mailchimp and/or GitHub is a plus, but not required


(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $61,300 to maximum $130,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
· Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.
