Are you interested in joining an industry pioneering the way for digital currencies within Canada? Coinsquare is excited to be hiring a Wealth Director to join our growing Wealth team. The Wealth team manages relationships for clients that are buying, selling or trading over $50,000 in digital assets. The team’s mission is to ensure that clients receive a professional and personalized experience for all their digital currency trades and needs. Within your first six months, you will be contributing to the team’s revenue targets, and have a strong understanding of Coinsquare’s OTC and Wealth operations. This would include funding, withdrawal and trading procedures as well as a confident grasp of the markets. By the end of your first year, you’ll be managing a portfolio of clients that are aligned with your mutually discussed monthly targets. You’ll be working alongside a talented team of individuals who have all successfully transitioned their careers from the traditional financial services world such as foreign exchange, wealth management, precious metals, investment banking, trading, etc. and have now transitioned their roles into the digital assets and cryptocurrency markets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in finding and curating relationships in B2B sales and is now looking to transition to a faster, more modern, tech environment.

What you’ll be doing

    • Managing accounts, relationships and new business development
    • Educating and informing prospects and clients about the digital asset market
    • Prospecting and creating new business relationships across Canada
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
    • Play an active role in the acquisition and retention of high-net-worth clients through proactive networking, cold calling, and prospecting to build up your book of business
    • Develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment; presenting key selling points, features and benefits

What you’ll bring

    • 5+ years of sales experience in the financial services sector, preferred experience working with high net worth clients and in B2B sales.
    • Having an existing book of business is an asset.
    • Completion of Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Course , as well as Investor Relations Certification (Coinsquare is seeking IIROC regulation)
    • A track record of successfully growing relationships, closing deals and generating referrals.
    • Must have a genuine interest or working knowledge of the digital asset sector.
    • Have a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
    • You are relationship-focused, and nurture long-term relationships resulting in repeat business and network referrals.
    • You thrive in outbound prospecting as it gives you energy and drives you to hit your KPIs.
