The Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI) is the main hub for AI research and technology development across Bosch. With a diverse team of international specialists, we develop cutting-edge AI technologies to be deployed across Bosch products and solutions. Artificial intelligence technologies are impacting Bosch’s products and services in many domains: Manufacturing, Engineering, Autonomous Driving, Supply Chain Management and Intelligent Services, etc.

• Conduct cutting edge research in the field of neural architecture search, aimed at developing highly accurate, yet efficient deep learning systems in resource-constrained scenarios.
• You will work in a large, international and interdisciplinary research team, and collaborate with experts from academia and industry to advance the state of the art in the field.
• Together with our team of engineers, you will develop tools that integrate latest research results and contribute to real-world applications in automated driving, driving assistants, and embedded AI products
• Publish in top-tier machine learning and computer vision conferences, supervise student projects, and drive collaborations with leading academic partners in the field.

Qualifications

• Education: machine-learning or computer-vision related PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable subject with excellent grades, strong publication record, in particular in the fields of neural architecture search and/or automated machine learning
• Personality and Working Practice: strong team player with passion for research and a focus to see things working in practice, methodical and conceptual strength and creativity, self-motivated personality who will take initiative to solve problems
• Experience and Knowledge: advanced programming skills in Python, with strong experience in Deep Learning frameworks like Tensorflow and Pytorch and experience in collaborative software development
• Languages: excellent communications skills (writing, speaking), fluent in English
