Job Description


We are looking for a marketing obsessed food lover to join our team as a State Marketing Assistant. Internally known as a State Marketing Executive, you will significantly support the State Marketing Manager NSW/ACT as you build sales, guest counts and increase consumer trust points through local marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactics. You will be empowered to be your best and get to work for a market leading global brand. This is a relatively entry level role where someone who has recently completed Marketing studies or has experience working in a McDonald's Restaurant would be suitable.

What are the main focus points of the role?

  • Planning and developing local initiatives to drive sales in accordance with state KPI’s, leveraging the national marketing plan
  • Supporting the State Marketing Manager in developing sales building programs at a regional and local store level
  • Monitoring sales and guest counts, reporting and making adjustments to local media as required
  • Assisting Marketing Manager in developing localised media plans in consultation with Licensees and Media Agencies
  • Coordinating amplifications and additional media activations as needed to support National Promotions and local initiatives as well as utilise media spend/contracts
  • Executing sponsorship plans for regions as required
  • Reviewing store merchandising and communicating recommendations to Licensees/Operations Consultants
  • Coordinating orientations with State Marketing Manager and new Licensees/Consultants
  • Taking on additional ad hoc projects or responsibilities as directed by the Marketing Manager

  • Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and third parties
  • Well-organised, able to set and work to tight deadlines
  • Adept at analysing and utilising data to determine root causes of problems and action plans to resolve such problems
