Position Summary As part of the QuickMAR Implementation Team, the
Pharmacy Implementation Specialist will act as the primary implementation liaison with the client and pharmacy to develop and implement best practices to drive optimized business outcomes, configure the database to enable successful solution functionality, and facilitate training on how to best optimize our solutions aligned with day-to-day business practices. The Pharmacy Implementation Specialist will be diligent, client focused, agile, transparent and a strong communicator. This individual will build relationships with our clients and pharmacy partners to become the trusted advisor to counsel and educate them on our solutions and recommended business practices. The successful candidate will lead an in-depth analysis of existing business process, operations and practices and provide recommendations for solution configuration, education and enhanced business practices. The Pharmacy Implementation Specialist will report to the Manager, Professional Services.
Key Responsibilities: - Acting as primary interface to client business units during all phases of the project - Performing project kick-off meetings with customers and delivery resources - Identifying scope, create project plan, manage, monitor and control multiple externally facing customer implementations of our software. - Manage the project budget, team resources, communications, and project plans - Monitoring and reporting on project progress, problems, and recommended solutions to the customer - In collaboration with the project team, proactively predicting, identifying, and communicating issues, risks, escalations, and delays to ensure an exceptional client experience and successful implementation - Identifying and resolving risks and issues in a timely manner. Escalating concerns to the project team and senior management when appropriate - Creating project plans, identifying scope, goals, deliverables, timelines and required resources - Managing the day-to-day implementation of operational project aspects, defining project tasks and resource allocation - Managing Projects/Engagements in Kimble - Managing Go Live dates for all projects to ensure timely delivery of the project. · Establishing and maintaining excellent client rapport to build strong successful client relationships · Demonstrating exceptional communication skills both written and verbal · Having an in-depth knowledge about PointClickCare's solutions, clients' industry, and functional business processes · Gaining a deep understanding of clients’ business workflows and processes to convey recommended solutions, configuration, workflow enhancements and training recommendations · Implementing best-practice solution deployment strategy to drive desired client business outcomes and value · Working with client to develop an execution plan for user readiness and acceptance · Evaluating workflows and providing input into the direction of workflow and configuration needs in writing the Business Requirements document · Translating technical requirements and building the configuration setup in alignment with clients’ desired outcomes · Delivering online or onsite meetings, presentations and instructor-led training using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, group discussions, video, or lectures · Conducting instructor-led classroom training sessions for clients at company, industry conferences or client sites · Documenting projects, milestones, timelines, and identified risks · Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues · Reviewing client product requests to ensure that our product and engineering teams have an in-depth understanding of the clients needs · Testing, piloting, and documenting new professional services offerings as applicable · Updating and maintaining artifacts incorporating new product releases or enhancements, as applicable
Required Experience • University degree or college degree or post-secondary education, preferred • Professional experience implementing, configuring and/or training software in a healthcare setting • Experience learning new concepts and technologies and converting them into client solutions • Proven ability to take accountability for a project, demonstrating initiative, and delivering on commitments to ensure organizational objectives are met • Strong working knowledge of processes and workflows in post-acute care or pharmacy industry • Self-starter, able to work independently, prioritize to deliver on time and adapt priorities and a flexible approach to sharing client insights • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, teamwork, conflict resolution and problem-solving • Excellent presentation skills including experience conducting training sessions both in-person and remotely • Strong understanding of training development techniques and best practices, preferred
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products and other teleconferencing solutions (i.e. Zoom, Teams, etc.) • Experience with QuickMAR or Pharmacy Long Term Care EMAR services desirable.
