Job Description

Eaton’s North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Regional Human Resource Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Regional Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading, and managing human resource strategies to support the North America Sales and Marketing and Commercial Operations organizations. Partnering with regional and segment sales leaders to drive strategic corporate and divisional initiatives as well as talent development through the regions and sales segments. Positively supporting corporate, group and division HR initiatives. Identifying opportunities for synergy. Developing strategies for maintaining positive employee relations at all division locations. Providing guidance and direction to HR and business leaders on complex business and HR issues. Coaching managers to become effective leaders.

In this function you will:

  • Lead and manage and human resource strategies to support the strategic and operating plans of the region
  • Use coaching, consulting and facilitation skills to influence behavior and business decisions consistent with Eaton Values and Philosophy.
  • Drive corporate and divisional initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for synergy and integration.
  • Develop strategies for maintaining positive employee relations at all division locations.
  • Provide guidance and direction to HR and business leaders on complex business and HR issues.
  • Effectively use assessment tools (such as the Employee Survey) to determine organizational issues and identify problems.
  • Ensure local practices align with the Eaton Philosophy.
  • Have working knowledge of various state employment-related regulations.
  • Foster culture conducive to Eaton’s Philosophy.
  • Understand and champions environmental health and safety issues and regulations.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources management.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA preferred
  • Strong competency in Leadership Style and managerial courage
  • Experience in BOC
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  • Excellent facilitation / coaching skills.
  • Well-developed PC skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Solid understanding of local country regulations and standards.
