Siemens Mobility Limited (SMO) are looking for a Sales & Marketing Professional to work within our Educational & Skills central function and with our National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) which is operated by Siemens and based in Northampton. NTAR is a recognised Centre of Excellence having been created to upskill the rail industry. This role would suit someone that is currently working within Sales & Marketing administration or for a recent graduate looking for their next professional career move.
Working closely with the Head of Governance, Assurance and Business Development and the NTAR General Manager, this role requires someone who can develop coherent Go-to Market strategy and plans, feed into development of sales and marketing collateral, identify, develop, and maintain partnerships and guide innovative and creative propositions through to contract and delivery.
Critical to sustained growth and development of NTAR is the development of the partnership and customer base within the markets for the operation and maintenance of traction and rolling stock, and infrastructure e.g. signalling, telecoms and electrification. The target customers comprise of OEMs, Train Operators, Freight Operators, Accredited Organisations, Academic Institutions and consumers (e.g. career transition, return to work, etc). All types of learning interventions are within the portfolio, such as: apprentice programmes, e-learning, coaching, mentoring, training, webinars, virtual reality, distance learning, etc.
Our focus with the 'new normal' is working where you’re most productive. This role will require travelling on a regular basis to attend events and attend NTAR in Northampton, so we can be flexible with where the ideal candidate will be coming from.
