Cyber Test Engineer

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development – and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.

As a test engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with testers to evaluate software developed for government agencies. You’ll build a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automation to streamline, you’ll generate data and execute the test cases to see how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor health of software programs. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test the code. You’ll also broaden your experience in large scale systems and gain skills in new areas such as automation while sharing your testing experience with your team.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with functional and integration tool testing
• 2+ years of experience with creating test scripts and developing requirements, test plans, and test procedures
• 1+ years of experience leading a testing effort in development and production networks
• Experience working on government contracts or engagements
• Experience in providing te chnical consulting services to Federal or Commercial clients
• Experience in L3 Testing
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues and escalate as needed
• Ability to write and maintain te chnical documents including test cases, RTMs
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in working with enterprise Cyber defense tools, including Cisco ISE, Splu nk, Splunk SOAR (Phantom)
• Experience in working with Elastic, RSA Archer, BigFix, Tenable.sc, CyberArk, and Forescout
• Experience with Network Access Control, Network Authorization, Security Orchestration and Automation
• Experience in working with Jira and ServiceNow
• Experience with automated test tools
• Knowledge of Federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, Federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
• CISSP, Security+, Network+, Cisco ISE, Splu nk, or CEH Certifications
