We are seeking Hardware Product Manager to lead our dynamic and growing team of engineering teams.
You will:
• Be a part of the Next Generation Geo (NGG) ground segment program. We will be providing the next generation ground system - an open architecture/open framework system that will provide the customer with the flexibility to meet the demands of a rapidly changing environment.
• You will lead a team of engineers through the design, develop, and test of a combined hardware/software solution for operational delivery.
• As a growing program, you will also assist the existing leadership team with vetting, hiring, staffing and building strong teams.
• Experience working with Earned Value Management (EVM) and understanding of Cost Account Management (CAM)
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and senior program management
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and understanding of Cost Account Management (CAM) basics (ex. ETC, EAC, EV etc.)
• Experience coordinating, integrating, and communicating across engineering disciplines
• Leadership experience
• Demonstrated, outstanding internal and external customer relation skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Project, Excel, Word, PPT)
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of LM management processes and project leadership
• Knowledge of SBIRS Operational Site Process
• Familiarity with the OPIR Domain or previous work experience on the NextGen GEO program
• Experience with TINA and BOE requirements, using and/or administering a genBOE workspace
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
• Cost Account Management (CAM) Certified
• Knowledge of planning processes including critical paths analysis, risks, and Earned Value implementation from a planning perspective
• Demonstrated successful task/project execution
• JIRA tool experience
• Familiarity with major IT hardware manufacturing product lines
• Experience with SBIRS or NGG COTS procurement process
• Linux OS experience
