Bosch Security Systems LLC seeks a Machine Learning Engineer at its facility located at 2555 Smallman Street, Suite 302, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Involved in design and implementation of state-of-the-art Machine Learning/AI capabilities for Moving Video camera products. Design and implement ML/AI algorithms that meet our customer needs and use case requirements. Interface directly with Bosch business units to ensure on-time delivery of critical product development milestones. Contribute and help maintaining the Bosch Audio and Video AI codebase/SW platform. Serve as a lead in transitioning research prototypes into software products/solutions for our customers. Ensure critical algorithm performance criteria are met for practical use (including setting up appropriate data collection strategy and validation experiments). Work directly with Bosch research staff members to develop, test, and deploy new capabilities as necessary. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report/appear at Bosch Security Systems LLC, 2555 Smallman Street, Suite 302, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. REQS: This position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering, plus 3 years of work experience in design and implementation of machine learning and signal processing algorithms, and software development experience in Bash, Python, MATLAB and C/C++. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Design and implementation of multimodal signal processing algorithms for robust event detection; (2) Statistical signal processing for sensor array data analytics; (3) Deep learning/machine learning packages such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or related; (4) Design and implementation of largescale Machine Learning/AI algorithms including convolutional neural networks, related to computer vision, speech/audio or other time series data; (5) Design and implementation of machine learning/deep learning systems for automatic speech recognition; and (6) Developing AI software platform/SDK.
