The team Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

This positionThe successful candidate will support the existing team through taking responsibility for Ireland and UK statutory accounts. They will also support the team through the monthly and quarterly close process for various international subsidiaries. There will also be a project/ad hoc element to the role where the individual will be expected to bring their problem solving skills to bear on projects such as building better Accounts Receivable reporting. Candidates should have experience of monthly close processes, preferably in a US headquartered multinational, as well as a strong understanding of both US GAAP and Irish/UK GAAP. Experience of large company ERP systems such as NetSuite/Oracle/SAP would be beneficial. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under strict deadlines as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment is critical.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting Operations and is Flex

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter end processes, for various DocuSign entities in EMEA, APAC and Latin America through the preparation of journal entries in areas such as Accruals, Prepaids, Lease Accounting, Bank, Payroll and Fixed Assets
• As part of the close process ensure that balance sheet accounts are reconciled in line with established reporting deadlines.
• Carry out monthly flux analysis as required by entity or by account.
• Support the preparation of annual statutory accounts across various regional subsidiaries.
• Support annual US GAAP audits and quarterly reviews.
• Work with the GL team to implement process improvement in month end close processes.
• Participate in implementation of new software systems and process testing as required.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in industry
• Experience with US GAAP
• Experience with Irish/UK GAAP
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Business related degree
• Experience in a multi-national company, preferably US Headquartered
• Exposure to working in a multi-currency environment
• Experience with NetSuite or other large company ERP/accounting system
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally with all levels of the organization
