Patreon strives to provide creators with insight, education, and tools that make it possible to retain creative control while running their creative business, so creators can focus on creating and energizing their fanbases.

Our user base has doubled in the last year alone, and we have paid over $2 billion directly to creators on our platform. In order to support this level of growth, Patreon is looking for a Brand Manager, GSA to join our Berlin team.

What you will do:

This position is responsible for establishing and developing the Patreon brand in Germany (Austria and Switzerland). As the Brand Manager, GSA you will develop and execute country-specific marketing plans and will drive brand awareness, perception and consideration with creators and fans alike.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Own Marketing’s contribution to top-of-funnel success indicators
• Develop comprehensive, strategic and compelling marketing campaigns across integrated channels that resonate with GSA markets
• Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to build the Patreon brand, help acquiring and building trust with creators
• Represent Patreon at industry events, participate at conferences and build a strong network of industry professionals, creators and media in GSA
• Onboard and manage external agencies and freelancers
• Work in cross functional expert teams in the US and in Europe across brand, content, social media, communication, product and data analytics to help create and optimize campaigns
• Secure quality, authenticity and relevance of the brand and product in German language
• Ensure all marketing campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and achieving desired objectives

Skills and experience you possess:

• 5-8 years experience in (cultural) marketing with a lifestyle brand, digital publisher, entertainment tech platform or agency
• Excellent communication skills in English and native in German
• Experienced in marketing strategy, planning, implementation and reporting
• Well connected in the creative and cultural industry in Germany
• You thrive in a dynamic and high energy environment and are comfortable with occasional ambiguity
• You are proficient at using Google Suite, Slack, analytics tools
• Strong collaborator and team player with a bias toward action
• Bachelor’s degree (eg in Marketing, Communications) or relevant working experience

Projects you may work on:

• Develop a 12-month marketing plan and budget in response to Patreon brand health in Germany, and evaluate the resources needed to execute
• Collaborate with local and remote teammates in the US and Europe to develop global marketing initiatives and localize for GSA markets
• Partner with Patreon ambassadors to execute campaigns and help launch new creators
