Administration: Ensuring that diaries are free from clashes and our leaders have enough time outside of meetings to complete important work, implementing processes for the team, taking basic minutes and action points when required . Any other administrative duties required by your leaders.

Prioritisation: Ensuring that the diary runs like clockwork and meeting clashes are cleared up promptly, acting as a friendly gatekeeper, obtaining a clear agenda for requested meetings and ensuring it’s an appropriate length. You’ll also be quickly able to pivot the diary to ensure that urgent meetings are accommodated.

Preparation: Supporting leaders with their important weekly meetings, confirming agenda’s with your leader and distributing reading materials if required, creating meeting slide decks when needed and helping to pull together key documents.

Correspondence: Diving into their inbox regularly to clear out any unwanted emails or spam and proactively flagging important emails that require their attention. Being the first point of contact for people within Monzo who require time with your leaders and helping to accommodate this time.

Logistics: Arranging transport and accommodation when required, ensuring that meeting rooms are booked and ready for meetings in the office where necessary, assisting with collective level all hands meetings and team away days, planning and facilitating team events.

You’ll also need to manage your own time to determine how to most effectively support the team, and how to prioritise their different needs. There will also be opportunities to get involved in project work and other initiatives across the business that interest you.

Apply if:

  • You have experience working as a EA previously within a fast paced environment with ever changing priorities (start-up or scale-up is preferable)
  • You have previous experience using Google suite & Slack
  • You’re exceptionally attentive to detail and incredibly organised
  • You’re a quick learner, and ask incisive questions to gather the context you need
  • You’re not phased by change and a fluid environment
  • You are proactive and can work autonomously
  • You have excellent communication skills with a proven ability to write and adapt style to different voices and audiences
