About the job Twilio is seeking a Documentation Operations Specialist to join our Developer Education team. The person in this role will take a broader look at the Developer Education team and contribute to programs and frameworks that will help us scale effectively and measure our work meaningfully. This is currently a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
Responsibilities In this role, you will:
- Contribute to numerous programs across the Developer Education team, helping to build connections across teams and introducing initiatives aimed at long-term sustainability and scalability.
- Collaborate with the documentation platform team to implement experiments and update the developer experience of the docs, collecting and analyzing data in order to validate the outcome of those projects.
- Investigate metrics to identify root cause, determine improvements, and follow through with committed insights to evolve systems and processes.
- Efficiently and effectively communicate, track plans, and provide access to the progress and performance of your work to team members.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to gather and test hypotheses around creating a more magical developer experience in Twilio's developer documentation.
- Define processes and established ways of working, including where docs fit into agile or other development methodologies.
- Define documentation priorities and deliverables from a broad scope.
- Use code to automate processes and solve problems the team may have.

Required: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience producing technical documentation, either for an internal or external audience
- A meticulous eye for detail: accuracy, conciseness, consistency, and relevance
- Your passion for technology inspires you to explore your curiosity; you love learning new things
- You find a fast-paced, constantly iterative environment engaging and stimulating
- You can write proficiently in English
- You’re no stranger to development and can use code to solve problems.
Desired: - Previous experience creating and implementing new processes for teams.
- You have experience running a UX research project.
- You’re comfortable with data and know how to visualize it for other teams.
Location This role will be remote, USA.

- The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $145,520 - $181,900
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
