This position is for an experienced, senior level Test Engineer to support Production Operations at RMS on flight simulators for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Specific responsibilities include:
• Primary Internal/External POC on all Production & Deployment Testing Activities
• Performs technical planning for all Production & Deployment Testing Activities
• Responsible for the preparation, coordination, and approvals of system acceptance plans, procedures, and reports.
• Responsible for the integrity of the test execution, test procedures, and baseline being used during test events and ensuring proper documentation is configuration managed.
• Responsible for managing production test technical debt.
• Responsible for managing and tracking test metrics.
• Final approver of all submitted reports of test activities to program leadership or the customer, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) and able to communicate effectively with external customer and internal leadership about technical status/issues
• Experience with JSF Training Device architecture and System Level (Tier 6) Requirements
• Expertise in the integration and testing of advanced software/hardware systems to achieve customer requirements.
• Experience with the following Engineering Tools: JIRA Confluence & the full Atlassian Suite, DOORs
• Demonstrated proficiency in prep, coordination, and approvals of system acceptance plans, procedures, & reports.
• Experience with automated testing objectives and implementation
• Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain JSF Special Access Program clearance within 6 months of position start date
Desired Skills:
• Experience managing test technical debt
• Experience managing & tracking test metrics
• Ability to analyze complex designs & create test solutions that optimize cost/technical/schedule variables
• In-depth understanding of currently used technologies and future paths to apply evolving technology toward improvements
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
