Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) is the advocacy and political arm of PPFA. Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seek a driven and impactful Associate Director, CFP. This job reports to the Director, CFP in the OCDO of PPFA. The Development Division is responsible for raising revenue to deliver the mission of PPFA. Purpose : The Associate Director, CFP works to execute a strategic vision for the expansion and enhancement of the program. The program includes three work streams: marketing and discovery, onboarding of new affiliate partners and ongoing program management. They will build successful partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders consisting of affiliate leaders and PPFA Development professionals to ensure the program can meet its strategic goals for growth. Delivery : ● Lead the ongoing project management and strategic planning for the expansion and growth of the Collaborative Fundraising Program (CFP). ○ Meet with internal and external stakeholders on individual timelines and clarify requirements of the project. ○ Track deliverables daily and follow-up with assigned individuals. ○ Identify and communicate dependencies within the project and adjust the timeline as needed. ○ Work closely with the Director, CFP to ensure all deliverables are identified and assigned appropriately ● Develop presentations and other materials in support of the three phases of CFP expansion and growth: marketing and discovery, onboarding and implementation, ongoing program management ● Serve as a focal point in the community management of CFP affiliate development staff and national office counterparts, to facilitate knowledge exchange and team building. Work with stakeholders on an ongoing basis to analyze challenges, identify opportunities for alignment, and develop solutions for identified priorities. ● Plan and implement the bi-annual affiliate CFP Partners Summit as well as other affiliate PPFA leadership meetings both in person and remote as needed. ● Develop and deliver ongoing training and engagement opportunities for all partner affiliate Development staff ● Partner with the division’s Data Analyst on projects in support of the CFP, Revenue Committee and Vision for the Future of fundraising as needed. ● Perform other duties as assigned. Engagement: This position works closely with staff across the Development Division (including: Chief Development Office, Principal and Major Gifts, Gift Planning, Development Systems, Direct Response, Affiliate Relations and Leadership Engagement). They need to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders towards a common vision. This role also serves as a key partner to the CFP affiliates. They will engage affiliate CDOs and development staff at all levels. In addition, this role will interact with Development staff from the Federation through workgroups or Development Officer’s Council (DOC) activities. They will also work with the Senior Advisor on Revenue Committee projects. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): ● Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional work experience ● Client-oriented with strong ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. ● Creative problem solver with a collaborative approach to identifying and addressing challenges. ● Project management experience (2 years minimum or certification) ● Experience supporting board-level/executive-level committees a plus ● Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office ● Exercises good judgement and discretion, high integrity and the ability to maintain confidential information ● Attention to detail ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment ● Ability to work in a multicultural workforce, with sensitivity and appreciation to cultural differences ● Commitment to Planned Parenthood's mission TRAVEL : 0 - 25% travel Starting salary: $94K #LI-SY1 Final offers for this job will be based on capabilities and will be made within the parameters of the PPFA compensation program.
