Financial Analyst

Job Description

Classy is looking for a highly motivated financial analyst to join an established yet high growth compa ny whose work will have a meaningful impact on the future of Classy (while mobilizing and empowering the world for good). This role will be integral in evolving our financial foundations, working cross-functionally with the various business teams, providing insights and decision-making support to upper management and building out industry leading forecasting and budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical abilities, be detail-oriented, demonstrate problem-solving skills and thrive in a fast-paced organization while maintaining a high standard of work with strong execution.

What you’ll accomplish:

• Support operational and financial decisions through financial modeling and analysis
• Assist in building and managing financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
• Support KPI and revenue reporting – Monthly, Quarterly, Annually (and ad hoc)
• Assist in developing annual financial plan and long-term financial model
• Drive and implement processes to help scale our FP&A practices
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required

What you bring (Required):

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
• 2 + years of relevant experience including building revenue forecast models
• Strong analytical skills to process large financial data sets
• Fundamental understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles
• Proven ability to foster proactive and collaborative working relationships across functions in the organization
• Advanced knowledge of MS excel, GSuite
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Effective process skills and a desire to drive improvements
• Results oriented team player with attention to accuracy and detail
• Calm under pressure with a high degree of integrity
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, self-motivated, a “can do” attitude
• Display maturity in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive financial information

What would be awesome to have (Preferred):

• Software as a Service and/or Payments experience
• Experience and understanding of the SaaS business model, associated key metrics and concepts
• Power BI/data analytics experience
