Job Description

Eaton’s North American Electrical Marketing and Commercial Operations Division is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA location and has the opportunity for remote work.

Position Overview:

The Commercial Construction Digitalization Business Process Analyst will be a hands-on leader who will collaborate with cross-functional teams on key business process improvement across several sites that support the execution of the Commercial Construction Digitalization initiative. The Business Process Analyst will create and implement project plans to optimize workflows related to the Commercial Construction Digitalization initiative. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, highly organized, and resourceful in understanding complex processes, often with limited documentation. Further, the Business Process Analyst will be a leader in embracing and driving strategic change, challenging the status quo, while garnering business support and alignment towards streamlined processes. A successful Business Process Analyst is customer focused, solutions-oriented and fosters collaborative, productive working relationships amongst business stakeholders.

In this function you will:

  • Evaluate current business practices to identify gaps, waste, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support implementing process changes across several different sites to improve and standardize business processes and system usage
  • Utilize Change Management and Continuous Improvement techniques to drive adoption and adherence to new procedures, focused on successful outcomes
  • Drive efficiencies in construction project lifecycle workflow to achieve and maintain business and initiative goals; focus on pre-order/design activities
  • Provide on-going training and support for Project Center
  • Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders to prioritize change requests/enhancements for Project Center
  • Develop creative solutions and contingency plans to address process challenges and/or systems limitations
  • Create and present project updates to cross-functional business stakeholders
  • Build collaborative and cooperative relationships with cross-functional business partners, IT and business leaders
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of key business areas

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical or commercial construction industry.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in: process improvement, project management, commercial construction projects, continuous improvement, customer support or digital customer experience.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience working in one of Eaton’s commercial construction-focused businesses.
  • Knowledge of the construction project lifecycle.
  • Knowledge and experience working with one of Eaton’s electrical product configurators.
  • Knowledge of Eaton’s electrical products.

Position Criteria:

  • Strong understanding of technical documents utilized throughout the commercial project lifecycle.
  • Ability to work in a team, build internal and external relationships to achieve project goals and drive change.
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to manage the timely execution of multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to create status reports and technical presentations to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated customer focused skills and behaviors.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT, Eaton’s sales organization, Eaton’s manufacturing facilities, Customer support teams, external stakeholders and other related initiative teams.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $87,200 – $119,900 a year.
