Description:The candidate will support the Provisioning and Logistics Support team in the development of various PTD for the Navy, Air Force, Army, etc. The successful candidate will process information under the supervision of the Provisioning lead, assisting in the assignment and analysis of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Codes (SMR) used in the development of configuration hierarchal structured Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) and Design Change Notices (DCNs). Support in the analysis of engineering drawings to determine the final parts to be provisioned. The candidate will be required to research parts data to identify all contract required data elements for provisioned parts, using on-line reference databases (WebFLIS, Haystack, etc.) and other automated and manual tools as necessary. The candidate will develop and load provisioning data utilizing the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and/or powerLOG-J for the generation of various Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) reports.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should have a familiarity and understanding of principles, concepts, practices, standards and knowledge of industry and company practices for the development of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD). The candidate is required to collect and organize engineering information necessary for the preparation of PTD, while having a working knowledge of the ICAPS and/or various logistics software tools (powerLOG-J, SLICWAVE, etc.).
Desired Skills:
The candidate will be familiar with PTD data elements to include NSNs, Cage codes, SMR codes, unit of issue, shelf life, production lead time, etc. The candidate will have working knowledge of LSA concepts, tools, etc. It is desired the candidate is familiar with AEGIS weapon system provisioning deliverables: PPLs, DCNs, SDFP, ADPD, SCL, CSL, and S&TE. The candidate will be well versed and have hands on experience with documentation requirements of MIL-STD-1552, MIL-STD-13882B, MIL-PRF-49506, and GEIA-STD-0007.
