The Role

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our new Addepar Research (AR) Team! AR is a newly launched Addepar capability that will carry out research projects on investment decision-making and deliver new research products on topics related to investing (e.g., briefs, working papers, journal articles, models). The AR mission is to inform wealth managers and institutional investors on new ways to improve their investment performance, by helping them augment their governance, management, operations, and processes. The goal is to utilize Addepar’s proprietary and private data (both quantitative and qualitative) to bring new and powerful insights to the world of investors.

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, senior project manager to coordinate and manage numerous different research projects, deliverables and staff. This person will also be passionate about the topic of investing and want to help investors improve and achieve their goals.

  • You will report to the Head of Research (Ashby Monk) and play a central role in the new AR organization, assuming responsibility for project oversight and ensuring that all AR commitments are being properly tracked, measured, managed and delivered.
  • You will ensure AR researchers and staff are meeting their obligations and serve as a go-between to other teams and even external stakeholders. Where needed, you should be ready to step into the shoes of the Head of Research, internally and externally.
  • You will maintain spreadsheets of projects, deliverables, research topics, stakeholders and more. You will help coordinate meetings and their agendas, as well as track outcomes and commitments from meetings.
  • You will help to ensure AR content meets highest standards by reviewing / editing, as well as coordinating reviews / edits by others. You may even participate in writing some research products.
  • You will establish standard coordination with other Addepar teams, such as communications and go-to-market.
  • You will play the role of a senior generalist in this “start up”, ensuring that things that need to be done are done.

Who You Are

  • You have Bachelor’s degree and ideally an advanced degree relevant to the role (e.g., management, journalism, finance)
  • You have at least six years of experience in a similar project management role, such as Chief of Staff.
  • You are highly organized and collaborative.
  • You are a skilled writer and communicator, ideally with experience writing.
  • You are willing to play a utility role; stepping into gaps in our new team as needed.

Our Values

  • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Own outcomes.
  • Build Together - Collaborate to unlock the best solutions. Deliver lasting value.
  • Champion Our Clients - Exceed client expectations. Our clients’ success is our success.
  • Drive Innovation - Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving. Transform the industry.
  • Embrace Learning - Engage our community to broaden our perspective. Bring a growth mindset.

In addition to our core values, Addepar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We seek to bring together diverse ideas, experiences, skill sets, perspectives, backgrounds and identities to drive innovative solutions. We commit to promoting a welcoming environment where inclusion and belonging are held as a shared responsibility.

To ensure the health and safety of all Addepeeps and our prospective candidates, we have instituted a virtual interview and onboarding experience.

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot accept Colorado applicants.
