Description:Bring your proven leadership skills to Lockheed Martin, in support of the C2BMC program in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
As the Test Director, you will lead integration, test and analysis activities; plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of C2BMC to include integration with other components, elements, subsystems and/or systems within the Missile Defense Agency.
Responsibilities include:
• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and capabilities into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, cost constraints
• Establishes technical artifacts within an AGILE and DEVSECOPS environment, including alignment to process and solving hardware/software interface challenges
• Define various input/output parameters, and ensures integration of an entire Agile Release (Iteration) to include a variety of patches and fixes for software applications, network configurations, and/or cyber related changes
• Review, evaluate and derive test threads and ensure adequate acceptance criteria is established for all patches and releases to include objective evidence
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for C2BMC
• Coordinate all integration and test activities from within C2BMC teams and external organizations
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive C2BMC evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance
• Manage discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, and systems
• Ensure the technical baseline is established for testing, identify differences in test environments, and address gaps in environments to ensure a consistent baseline is tested across lab and operational environments
• Execute as part of the Solution Management team and work across multiple C2BMC organization collaborating with Solution Chiefs, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and the C2BMC Chief Engineer
• Establish a structured Test Organization across the C2BMC program that executes optimal test activities and responsibilities across Release Trains
Additionally, you will be expected to plan and implement testing of the C2BMC and related BMDS s/w and h/w components along with external interfaces and perform post-test data analysis and reporting in a group environment and validation and verification of C2BMC interface and system level requirements.
The Test Director will also be involved in the following actives:
• System requirement analysis, requirement development, allocation and documentation
• Functional analysis and decomposition; functional architecture development; system design support; trade studies
• Interface control specification development and interface design documentation; impact assessment
• Prepare test objectives and support writing of test and analysis plans/procedures, develop and validate post-test analysis tools, perform detailed post-test data analysis, prepare test reports, and brief test results
• Set testing infrastructure requirements for dev labs (HAL, TIL and CIL), ensure secure and stable dev test labs, align test configurations to operations
• Establish and maintain automated CI/CT/CD pipeline from development to CTB/Ops, plan and execute product harvests and associated releases to CTB/Ops
• Maintain and execute future lab vision, and ensure timely identification, analysis and tracking of testing issues found including rapid feedback to development
The primary work hours will be normal day office shift with the occasional off-normal support. Travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position*
• Must possess understanding of large-scale DoD or Missile Defense Agency command and control systems
• Extensive experience performing and leading system integration, system test, and data analysis
• Must have proven integration and test lead experience and have demonstrated performance with delivery of operational software
• Extensive experience establishing and adapting test organizations to maximize efficiency and program execution
• Must have an understanding of System Engineering and traditional product development lifecycle
• Experience in developing test objectives and related data analysis plans and procedures, developing and validating system test analysis tools, and preparing and presenting system test analysis results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be capable of leading and collaborating with teams comprised of staff from multiple companies in a variety of disciplines to include software development, network engineering, system engineering, algorithm development, cyber engineering, platforms and infrastructure
• Must be able to independently and cooperatively develop test objectives, concepts, architectures in the context of the BMDS system, and write and execute test plans and procedures, develop and validate customized analysis tools, and coordinate post-test analysis on a broad level across the C2BMC team and MDA
• Experience with digital transformation practices to include Agile, DevSecOps, and automated testing
• Experience identifying and ensuring technical baseline consistency throughout multiple environments
Desired Skills:
• Experience working in a multi-company contract, with an understanding of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) elements and associated test practices
• Experience participating in system test events, integrating with other external systems, and managing concurrent test activity involving multiple technical baselines
