Job Description

As the Asia & Emerging Markets Mobile LiveOps Mgr you will be part of the Asia & EM Publishing team whereby you will work in partnership with Publishing & Studios to ensure milestones are tracked & publishing needs are fully understood & implemented into the development timeline.

The main and routine tasks of the live operations manager are to:

• Understanding of the build release, season refresh cadence, the key selling points of each month
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure the first-hand decisions and plans being distributed
• Convert monthly Live-Ops plans into detailed tasks and adhere to deadlines
• Support and coordinate pre-launch activities, launch plan and coordinate execution
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
• Implement problem-solving processes with internal and external partners
• Serve as a point of contact for multiple teams that are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
• Report on the advancement of the deliverables (planned versus actual) to the team, producer and live producer and address any gaps
• Adjust schedules and targets when there’s emergency and ad-hoc tasks being assigned

Qualifications

Relevant experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in remote team coordination/management
• Mobile game production experience
• Mobile game live operations experience

Skills and knowledge

• Project management skills, PMP certification preferred
• Ability to run scrums as the scrum master
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using video conferencing to collaborate and generate results when working remotely
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Ability to manage time and priorities
• Ability to adapt to different types of personalities
• Good sense of judgement
