If so we may have the perfect next role for you: Marriott International is looking for a Public Relations Executive to join the Europe, Middle East & Africa Communications team looking after hotels in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
Role Summary
In your role as PR Executive, you will join the Marriott International UK & Ireland PR Centre Of Excellence (COE) team and support with the delivery of creative stories and campaigns to position our hotels and brands in top-tier German, Austrian and Swiss media and social media outlets. Our hotel brands include The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, The Luxury Collection, Autograph Collection, Sheraton Hotels, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Moxy Hotels and Aloft Hotels.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the press office and have daily exposure to our hotel teams, handle media and social media relations, draft content for newsletters & press releases, assist with Crisis Communications, contribute to the team’s social media activity, oversee Photo/Film Shoots, coordinate media events at our hotels and host media and influencers - just to mention a few of the tasks this role involves.
The role will be based in Berlin or Hamburg, with the option of flexible working. You will work with international team members, with the opportunity to travel within the DACH region, and in time further afield.
As part of a team of two, the PR Executive will report into the Director of Communications, Germany, Austria and Switzerland; and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the press office, working closely with the hotels that are supported by the DACH Communications team and the wider Communications teams for Marriott International in Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Experience
• Minimum 2-year experience of public relations, marketing communications and/or corporate communications experience, preferably within the travel / hospitality / lifestyle sector.
• Hotel/ hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience and ability to manage the interests and demands of multiple stakeholders.
Education or Certification
• University degree or equivalent in Public Relations / Communications / Marketing
