GRAIL is hiring a Director / Senior Director of Commercial Partnerships who will focus on unlocking and accelerating revenue generating opportunities for GRAIL. The ideal candidate has a strong strategic and analytic background, excellent communication and collaboration skills, demonstrated ability to deliver high quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment, and a track record of soup to nuts execution, from building a business case for novel opportunities all the way through closing high-value deals and laying the groundwork for future success. You Will:

    • Lead the end-to-end deal execution, from identification and prioritization of potential partners to business case development, to financial assessment, to transaction structuring and negotiation, to facilitating the completion of contract documents
    • Build strong relationships with senior / executive members of current and prospective partners
    • Collaborate directly with GRAIL's executive leadership to refine business cases and partnership models.
    • Maintain a robust understanding of the overall healthcare partner landscape in order to inform strategic direction of commercial efforts, proactively identifying and prioritizing opportunities for growth
    • Be a thought partner across internal teams to elevate go-to-market efforts, including positioning and messaging
    • Mapping out and implementing the necessary infrastructure to stand-up the channel
    • Manage, mentor and grow a team of Commercial Partnership Managers with an eye towards fostering performance, career growth, and learning
    • Manage evolution within channels and any potential impact to GRAIL’s strategy and monitor and ensure alignment across GRAIL on each Account’s business position.
    • Serve as the voice of GRAIL partnerships with GRAIL leadership and key cross-functional partners, providing regular detailed partner updates, addressing concerns and soliciting feedback / approvals as needed on new or ongoing work
    • Engage, participate and represent GRAIL at virtual and in-person industry events.
    • Support development of Key Performance Indicators and business analytics to drive team efficiency
    • Work closely with leaders of cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Implementation, Customer Success, Legal, Compliance) to support partnership initiatives
    • Attend relevant conferences to develop industry intelligence and relationships

Your Background Should Include:

    • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field, advanced degree preferred
    • 10+ years experience working in management consulting or investment banking within healthcare and/or life sciences industries, or market development or strategy roles at diagnostic, biopharma, healthcare services companies
    • Ability to build and develop partner relationships including the ability to effectively represent GRAIL and its products to senior levels of management and key thought leaders
    • Strong interest in science and biology
    • Demonstrated bias for action to iterate and create clarity within ambiguous initiatives
    • Experience in a fast-growing commercial organization with product launch experience
    • Excellent strategic and analytical skills
    • Experience working in a start-up environment, leading complex strategic / critical initiatives
    • Ability to prioritize, set goals and deliver results with a high emphasis on quality, technical rigor, and attention to detail.
    • Innovative thinking and exceptional eye for business, analytical and problem- solving skills
    • Mission driven; excitement to transform cancer screening and management as we know it
    • Outstanding customer-centric and relationship management skills
    • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with proven experience managing complex projects through influence
