What You’ll Do
- Represent the voice of the customer, enabling product teams to ship customer-first experiences.
- Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences.
- Collect and analyze user behavior through the most appropriate methods: ethnography, interviews, surveys, benchmark studies, calls logs, and online experiments (A/B testing).
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform a wide variety of research-related tasks, including recruiting participants.
- Work in close collaboration with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data, and other in UXR on research in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations.
- Work in close collaboration with other UxR teammates to inform and improve our processes.
You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences
- 3+ years of experience in an individual contributor role.
- BA or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
- Experience conducting research in consumer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process.
- Experience in a variety of product spaces applied research and/or academic settings.
- Proficiency in communicating user research findings with cross-functional partners to drive impact.
