Job Description

GitHub has a history of creating best-in-class videos that effectively meet key business results while they inspire, surprise and delight our developer audiences. As part of the Broadcast Video team, you will help facilitate the creation of world class content that supports GitHub’s global brand, marketing, go-to-market, events, and communication efforts.

You’ll be responsible for managing a variety of video projects from intake through delivery, maintaining project scheduling, budgets, resourcing, and comms. To be successful, you'll have a passion for organization, great communication skills, and a love for developer-led stories.

What you'll do:

  • Create, organize, and maintain project schedules for all work executed by the broadcast video team
  • Maintain production plans for project stakeholders and key creatives to ensure expectations are set and deliverables are met
  • Recruit, negotiate, hire and manage contract producers, agencies and/or production vendors
  • Collaborate with production teams, producers, agencies, and studio leads to ensure successful workflow
  • Manage vendor contracts, purchase orders, and onboarding in collaboration with GitHub finance, accounting, and security teams
  • Develop and maintain production budgets in partnership with video team producers
  • Project research and production support

What you'll bring to the role:

  • 3+ years of experience as an associate producer or project manager for a video team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • A knack for building ongoing relationships
  • Familiarity with production management and budgeting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
  • Get excited about challenging the phrase “that can’t be done”
  • Optional: Ability to use GitHub as a project management tool or the ability to learn new tools

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $73,500 to maximum $156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
· Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.
