In this role, you will be an Associate Manager for an Integrated Product Team of Electronics, Avionics, and RF communications engineers to develop, produce, integrate, and test spacecraft bus hardware for the Military Support Program (MSP) within the Special Programs Line of Business.
MSP offers a broad portfolio of contracts that fall into all stages of the product lifecycle (initial baseline, program execution, and closeout), which creates an exciting and dynamic environment where the candidate should be comfortable with balancing competing priorities. Strong communication skills are required as this role interfaces with many functions (Program Management, Customer, Engineering, Subcontract Management, Planning, Finance, etc.).
You will have a critical role within the bus organization, reporting to the MSP Bus Manager. In this position you will:
- Be responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance for a broad subset of complex spacecraft hardware.
- Lead a diverse and talented team of engineers to support product development, production, delivery and spacecraft integration and test
- Collaborate with the Space Electronics Center, RF Center of Excellence, Solar Array Center of Excellence, Supply Chain, and other support organizations to enable the on-schedule delivery of subsystem hardware that meets system requirements within financial commitments.
- Serve as the primary interface to program leadership and customer representatives for hardware within portfolio of responsibility
- Effectively manage control account performance, identify risks and opportunities to the program Risk & Opportunity Board and implement approved mitigation plans
- Build a strong team and lead the development, training, recognition, tasking, and performance management of engineers and control account managers. Employ Full Spectrum Leadership values to motivate, challenge and interact with the team.
We are looking for you to have experience in:
- Leading technical projects to include multi-organizational teams
- Understanding power system/avionics/communications/RF architecture
- Guiding electronics hardware through production, test, and qualification steps.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in design, development, and/or production of Space Flight hardware
- Experience leading diverse teams and developing and cultivating talent
- Demonstrated leadership driving technical issues to closure
- Excellent presentation, oral, and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with employees, senior management, and customers
- Active TS clearance; US citizenship is required
