This person will have a direct impact on Fiverr’s purpose by putting our values to action: Running lead on ‘Fiverr for All’ (Fiverr’s digital workforce development program providing education and mentorship to those most in need of economic prosperity) and supporting ‘The Future Collective’ (Fiverr’s fellowship aimed at providing access to capital and mentorship to black-owned businesses), and any net new programs

The ideal candidate has a track record of managing social impact programs and partnerships, and has exceptional project management, communication and organizational skills. Experience in technology, program design, and facilitation, are also a plus.

As a new position, this person will have the opportunity to support the creation of a strategy from the ground up and will execute against Fiverr’s Social Impact goals. The Social Impact Manager will report to the Team Lead - Community and Social Impact.

Please note - This role is located in NYC and is hybrid two days a week

What am I going to do?

• Support the evaluation of purpose-driven initiatives and execute them against Fiverr’s Social Impact strategy
• Own and drive Fiverr’s digital workforce program, Fiverr for All, with key external partners to create economic opportunities for anyone in the world to build their business, brand, and dreams
• Identify and seek out opportunities for upcoming programming that serve Fiverr’s larger Social Impact strategy and the communities we aim to impact
• Provide end-to-end project management for each program by driving kick-offs for new programs and projects, creating milestones, communicating progress and setting up and facilitating retrospectives/post-mortems when needed
• Be the day-to-day lead for external partners and develop communication plans to ensure our partners know what we are working towards and how to collaborate with us
• Build communication materials for both internal and external use around our Social Impact program.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Fiverr teams to allocate support and resources for digital workforce programs and other initiatives, as needed
• Create inroads for the Fiverr Community to participate in Social Impact initiatives
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteer mentors who participate in Social Impact programs
• Support Fiverr’s small business accelerator and mentorship program, The Future Collective, as needed
• Support the Team Lead to ensure the work of the Social Impact strategy is visible and understood throughout Fiverr (reports, case studies, town halls, internal collaborations)
• Provide a lens towards diversity, equity, and inclusion in brand and marketing initiatives
• Stay up to date on current events and provide recommendations for Fiverr to participate in key social and cultural moments
• Represent the company at relevant events and conferences, as needed
• Execute one-off projects and initiatives as directed by your manager

Requirements

• You have 3-5 years of work experience in project management
• Experience in community and/or social impact programming and program design
• You have facilitation, event design & execution experience
• Experience working across professionally and culturally diverse communities
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Meticulous attention-to-detail and organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
• Passionate about the future of work
• Great sense of humor

Preferred:

• Experience working in or with nonprofit organizations
• Experience leading partnerships and/or programs
• Experience problem solving and tackling problems with a creative mindset
• Experience in technology, impactful event design and facilitation, and in the community industry is a plus
