Product Manager - Respondent Experience - Returnship

The Path Forward Return to Work program at Momentive is an 18-week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to individuals who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent. What we're looking for

We are looking for a customer focused product manager to own our highest volume touchpoint, the survey taking experience. You will build engaging, intuitive, and accessible respondent experiences that drive a high response rate and quality for our customers. The survey product sees ~ 9 million responses/day and is optimized to support the experience on desktop and mobile, in 57 languages.You will focus on extending the reach of SurveyMonkey by building respondent experiences that work well on all devices and that are usable by and attractive to an extremely diverse audience of survey takers. You will have the option to work entirely remotely, or work from one of our offices, or a hybrid of both. You will report to the Manager of Product Management.

You will

• Cultivate customer empathy and develop deep insights into customer needs and how our products can help them achieve better outcomes
• Work with the engineering team to guide requirements for respondent experience needs to provide the best possible survey taking experience for respondents
• Blend internal and external inputs to provide a vision and roadmap for SurveyMonkey's respondent experience
• Conduct market and user research, identify industry trends, undertake competitive analysis
• Actively seek out and analyze data (qualitative and quantitative) to validate assumptions and make better product decisions
• Develop detailed product requirements, roll-out plans and work with Product Marketing to build GTM (go to market) plans for your products
• Work with a team of passionate engineers, data scientists, marketers, and product designers through iterative releases

You have

• 3 years+ experience with product development, feature prioritization, communication, and presentation
• Experience in an Agile environment or experience with Agile methodologies
• Ability to achieve alignment among cross-functional stakeholders
• Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Standards (WCAG 2 AA) and experience building accessible products and product features
