As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, our POS Alliance is looking for a passionate QA Engineer with a solid deal of experience and a truly Agile mindset to join its Connect Partners Area.

In this role, you will be part of an innovative team co-tackling a wide variety of challenges and work with a group of talented people driven by a shared ambition to create hassle-free solutions for our sellers. Easy, right?

Part of our POS Alliance, the core mission of our Connect Area is to increase the demand external partners building towards Zettle by PayPal. To get it done, we rely on a cross-functional team to develop and integrate innovative ideas. The team is driven by the ambition to develop hassle-free solutions in order to help small businesses succeed in a world of giants.
In this role, you will collaborate with a wide spectrum of people including developers, designers, and product managers with the shared ambition to take the quality of Zettle's products to a whole new level. Therefore, we are looking for a QA Engineer with experience of automated testing and requirement analysis combined with a genuine passion for quality and automation.

A glimpse of what you will do here

Together with our other QA, you will be involved in all the initiatives related to Quality and Test
Automation within the area. You two will be driving the quality activities in the Team but also work
on inspiring and helping the team to do it themselves with a built-in quality mindset.
With that in mind and without being exhaustive, some other key facets of this role will include:

• Driving the quality work in the teams.
• Requirement analysis for testability of products.
• Clear communication to provide a better-shared understanding across the teams.
• Hands on experience of exploratory, usability and functional testing
• Creation and maintenance of automated test cases & test automation set up.
• Investigation of bugs and support tickets.
• Coordination with other Zettle by PayPal QAs.

The skills to succeed

You have solid experience and passion for testing and requirement analysis and are constantly
exploring new solutions to problems. You have strong analytical skills and technical understanding,
plus great communication skills. You may have experience in mentoring others on quality.
Additionally, you will have:

• Good analytical skills with a solid understanding of product development, underlying system architecture and user requirements.
• Solid experience in planning, designing and executing tests and user scenarios through manual and automated means on mobile apps on various devices.
• Solid experience in using test automation tools.
• Experience of agile software development
• Good knowledge of Git, Github, ADB and Jira
• Good knowledge of Java or Swift
• Basic knowledge of Splunk, Postman.

Additionally, if you have experience in testing regulatory requirements and have knowledge of the
FinTech/Payments industry, we’d love to know. If not, we’ll be happy to help you get there.
