We have a Technical Sales Consultant position open in our International Sales department for our Hospitality Cloud Cvent Transient products for a talented and motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environments. Your primary responsibility will be supporting the Sales team in closing Cvent Transient deals (both NBB and Renewal) and also manage the relationship with a selected set of representation companies. There are a myriad of other activities and special projects and therefore no two days are ever the same.

What You Will Be Doing

· Supporting the sales team in closing Cvent Transient related deals (both NBB and renewal)

· Managing the relationship with a selected set of representation companies, with high focus on both customer retention and cross sell / upsell opportunities.

· Work with marketing to develop customer retention programs for Cvent Transient products

· Join sales team (Hospitality Cloud) on technical sales demos to close more business

· Provide detailed product information to prospective customers – in cooperation with the sales team

· Contribute on the setup strategy and design of higher profile, higher dollar, or sophisticated sales demo events when necessary

· Work with marketing team and sales team to create and maintain more technical sales collateral and documentation

· Assist with responses related to deeper product questions

· Interface with management and product development teams regarding enhancements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· Inside sales or client services experience at a software company

· Excel at developing relationships over the phone

· Flexibility to arrive early or leave late depending on when demos are scheduled

· Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented

· Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic environment while working with many teams

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

· Must be very organized in managing schedule and follow up

· Team player and contribute to team initiatives

· Proficient using general office software applications

· Experience using sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like Webex
