Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a SOC/SIM Software Architect to support the Artemis programs.
In this role, you will:
o Lead the architect decisions for the SOCRRATES and OrionSim teams on the Artemis programs and for new business efforts
o Set the future vision for SOCRRATES and OrionSim activities across the various products and usages
o Provide technical oversight for solving difficult technical problems
o Provide technical support to estimate cost and scope for proposals
o Provide overall architecture adherence to the Software Factory activities based on vision set forth by Software Chief Engineer’s office

Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related Engineering/Technical Field
o Experience performing software architecture for engineering teams
o Experience developing, integrating, and delivering software and/or hardware products
o Software development experience using C++
o Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
o Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and willing to seek answers to tough problems
o This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
o Familiarity with Orion SOCRRATES and OrionSim software
o Experience with Agile processes
o Full development lifecycle experience
o Ability to work with multiple programming languages, operating systems and development environments
o Experience in design and development of hardware to software integration
