We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Zettle Terminal team in Stockholm in the Hardware Experience product area, with the mission of offering a delightful in-store experience for our SMB merchants. The Zettle Terminal is the company’s flagship hardware product, launched to the market late 2021. It caters for SMBs with the need for an all-in-one device and use cases where mobility and connectivity are key.

This role will be sat in Stockholm, as a Senior Product Manager, you own the product strategy and overall roadmap for the Zettle Terminal product. You will be responsible for communicating and coordinating those priorities across the organization.

You will be required to have a clear understanding on how the Zettle Terminal can address our customer needs today and in the future. You will define and execute the product strategy, and ensure it is aligned with the broader area and company strategies. In doing so you will have a pulse on the in-store payments industry and work closely with the commercial organization to ensure the right product market - fit.

You will be key in evangelizing this product across other product development teams, as well as operational teams.

You will work really close to other product mangers in the area. This will give you the chance to informally coach more junior PM and help them grow.

Responsibilities:

• Know your customers: Understand how Zettle Terminal can enable in-store SMB merchants in their daily workflows, both today and in the future, and turn that knowledge into product opportunities.
  
• Vision, strategy, and prioritisation: You will contribute to the product area’s vision and roadmap. In doing so, you need to understand “what is important” and contribute to making the right choices and priorities. You will own the product narrative towards the development teams and prioritize their backlogs.

• Communication: You are responsible that your product roadmap and priorities are well grounded and communicated to all relevant stakeholders, primarily other product teams, commercial teams, customers, and leaders within Zettle and the PayPal enterprise. You will be required to collaborate with geographically distributed teams in different time zones.
  
• Grow yourself and the team: Being a senior Product Manager requires a strong self-confidence as well as the ability to influence, lead, and inspire other individuals. This job is an ever-ongoing journey of dialog, discovery, and learning.
  

Who you are:

A successful candidate should demonstrate a thorough domain expertise in the hardware and payments space. You are an experienced Product Manager comfortable with managing products with a high degree of technical complexity. You are proactive and highly self-sufficient, you thrive in fast moving environments, and you inspire and lead people through change. As you will be interfacing with many different stakeholders, both from within the PayPal organization as well as external partners and customers, you are expected to exercise strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

The skills that set you apart

• Extensive experience as a product manager.
• A proven track record of developing hardware/software products.
• Thorough understanding of agile development processes, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation. Experience from Jira / Atlassian is a plus.
• Strategic thinking to continue building a product line.
• Strong analytical skills, and good technical understanding.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to speak fluently to engineers, UX designers, business managers and partners.
• Strong interpersonal skills and happy to work in a team environment.
