This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Marketing Communications Director you will be responsible for:

  • Lead a robust Marketing Communications function responsible for developing and executing a global communications strategy designed to position Siemens Healthineers as a high-impact leader in clinical diagnostics
  • Being cross-functional is in your DNA: you will work closely with the executive team, portfolio marketing, solutions marketing, digital marketing communications, and creative teams to weave the laboratory story into every dimension of our company
  • Skills and experience: communications and social media strategies, brand development, content marketing, audience conversion, events & exhibitions, and advertising will be relevant for this critical role
  • Oversee efforts to increase share of mind and brand presence in front of key audiences, analyzing and adapting campaigns along the way
  • Develop, manage, and report on objectives and key indicators to track effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns to continuously improve and ensure achievement of team goals
  • Inspire and manage a team of 5-7 individual contributors

  • You have demonstrated the ability to influence and build alignment among cross-functional teams
  • You are a proven strategic communications leader with experience in product launches, exhibitions, content marketing and corporate communications
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging narratives for multiple audiences
  • You have demonstrated mastery of multiple business communications disciplines, including strategic integrated campaign and communication plan development, advertising and digital marketing
  • Strong digital copywriter, able to communicate messages through landing pages, emails, search and programmatic advertising, social media, and other online formats
  • Experience planning digital media briefs and ability to build and execute strategic plans with tactics that deliver tangible results such as opt-in growth or lead generation
  • Must understand the healthcare space, specifically with a focus on communicating in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience leading teams, especially during a period of digital transformation to enable growth and adoption of best practices and a spirit of continuous optimization. Able to nurture and grow talent; work within an organization to set a vision and execute it effectively.
  • Track record of effective delegation, ability to manage multiple priorities, and to organize a large volume of work and keep it flowing through the pipeline

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, English, marketing, advertising or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in marketing or communications; experience in healthcare preferred but not required
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
