Business Analytics Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Apply business and technical expertise to the analytics processes, tools, and applications for a business function or business unit. Apply quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data. Interpret data to allocate resources and drive business decisions. Leverage analytical results to analyze technically sound recommendations in the form of a business case analysis, analysis of alternatives, and IT strategy documents. Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with data analysis, data mining, data visualization, statistics, or graph algorithms

-Experience with providing both written and oral communication to senior staff

-Knowledge of economic analysis, cost analysis, or financial analysis

-Knowledge of trend analysis, cost estimation, and financial planning

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Bachelor's degree in Informatics or Healthcare Administration

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with task leadership or project management

-Experience in the health market, preferably military health market

-Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite products

-Experience with R, SAS, Tableau, or SQL

-Experience with Defense Health Agency data and data sets, including MHS Mart (M2), MHS Data Repository (MDR), Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi), and Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS)

-Knowledge of medical coding practices and processes, including ICD-10 and CPT/HCPS codes

-Ability to work with small or cross-functional project teams

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000-120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
