Job Summary

Comcast's Emerging Experience Channel Operations team is transforming the proactive notification experience for our customers. As a part of EECO, our Experience Design and Deployment team supports this mission by seeking to personalize these notifications by ensuring they are contextual, empathetic, and useful to our customers. Job Description

The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience.

About the Team / Role:

A creative contributor who thinks words-first and understands how integral content is to good user experience (UX). As an Experience Designer, you’ll have a hands-on role in shaping proactive, consumer-facing experiences for the Emerging Experiences Channel Operations team. You’ll join a team covering a wide array of needs, ensuring cross-team collaboration in pursuit of best-in-class experiences. You’ll bring your knowledge of chatbot conversation design, UX design, UX copy standards, and digital/product content strategy, as well as experience with end-to-end delivery from strategic thinking to quality execution.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner seamlessly with key stakeholders: EECO proactive, journey and Telemetry, customer care, engineering, and more
  • Approach all work with a content strategy lens: start with the “why” of the request, assess business and customer needs, and push for ideal outcomes
  • Work across multiple projects
  • Constantly push for overall consistency of written copy across all projects
  • Ensure all content meets technical delivery specs and appropriate format for distribution
  • Ensure copy is inclusive and accessible
  • Provide subject matter expertise in conversation design
  • Operate as a part of a horizontal discipline, able to provide guidance and expertise to multiple teams working in the conversation design space across Comcast
  • Conduct content-first or content strategy exercises as needed to establish strategic approach for projects/tracks
  • Provide feedback to and edits contributed content from UX copywriters and other content creators as needed
  • Serve as a liaison and spokesperson with stakeholders, product owners, and senior staff
  • Review competing products and recommends design solutions that differentiate the organization's experiences from those of competitors.
  • Develop new research and tests theories that lead to alternative, leading edge solutions and outcomes.

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

  • UX background, either through work experience or schooling
  • Possess a strong desire to simplify and improve the customer experience through thoughtful designs that incorporate Choreo principles, conversational design best practices as well as inclusive and accessibility standards
  • Be able to translate requirements to the business and articulate them back to dev and engineering teams
  • Require minimal direction to drive work forward and complete tasks
  • Ability to receive feedback from multiple stakeholders and synthesize it to create the best outcomes for both the customer and the business.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
