Job Description

The ideal candidate will display a high level of organization and possess the ability to effectively execute tasks, communicate, be a fast eager learner, self-starter and be able to perform in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create and distribute monthly invoices based on contract and reporting data
• Review and interpret contracts for proper billing terms and assist in the management aspect of the revenue process
• Perform daily duties around revenue recognition and customer invoicing
• Interface with other teams including but not limited to Account Staff, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cash applications, contract administration and sales/client staff
• Participate in month-end and quarter closes including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Possess the ability to work with a variety of corporate applications

Qualifications:

• BA in Accounting, Finance, Business or related experience
• 3-5 years experience in a Finance and/or Accounting role, with an understanding of revenue recognition and billing
• Experience in a role that required attention to detail and delivery in a timely and accurate fashion within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Required technical skills include usage of Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) a plus or other accounting software ERP, Microsoft suite, Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft excel skills preferred
