On our path to becoming the world's favorite way to shop, we’re assembling an unparalleled global talent network, accelerating individual careers, and disrupting entire industries. We are on a mission to liberate humanity from all the meaningless time spent managing their purchases and finances, so they can do more of what they love. We’re in search of global talent eager to embrace a hypergrowth atmosphere and defy their own expectations. Who we are: The marketing function within the Sales Success team is responsible for creating and owning the Global Partner Intro deck (Klarna’s pitch and strategy document) – including developing the strategy, crafting the narrative, and producing the final deliverables used by the entire organization. What you will do: We’re looking for a marketing leader with a passion for the value our services bring to retailers and shoppers around the world. This individual will serve as the marketing lead, responsible for driving and crafting Klarna’s positioning and messaging, and support in the production of marketing and sales assets for retailers. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to every aspect of the business, and partner closely with members of the CXO group on Klarna’s global go-to-market strategy and merchant and product offerings. You’ll make an impact on Klarna’s expansion and growth while being a part of a highly ambitious team that has lots of fun!

Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and refinement of Klarna’s overarching narrative and value proposition, as manifested in Klarna’s Global Partner Intro deck (the pitch).
    • Serve as the Marketing Lead, responsible for the overall marketing function and output of the team, including managing and developing high-performing marketing talent.
    • Participate in – and sometimes lead – feedback and brainstorm sessions with senior stakeholders across the organization, often at the CXO level, on Klarna’s global go-to-market strategy.
    • Define – and continually refine – Klarna’s value proposition, in support of elevating the conversations with retailers.
    • Develop compelling narratives that are thoughtful, impactful, and clear, highlighting Klarna’s vision for continued growth and success.
    • Serve as a strategic thought partner – and an effective point of contact – to cross-functional teams and leaders across the organization, in an effort to craft narratives that fit and strengthen the overall value proposition.
    • Support in building out, and packaging up, marketing assets and messages for our products and services across all of our global markets.
    • Partner closely with analysts to gather and prioritize proof points to support our claims and strengthen our content, including market research and competitive data and intel.
    • Partner closely with designers on the creative output, providing input and directive on the overall look and feel of the deliverables.
    • Craft, package, and distribute marketing and sales materials.

Requirements

    • Minimum 10 years of marketing experience, with relevant background working within a Sales Enablement leadership role.
    • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, managing and developing talent.
    • Experience translating high-level strategy into well-crafted execution, as manifested in the development of clear and concise narratives.
    • Expert copywriting skills, with experience crafting compelling content and messages to external audiences.
    • A strong communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the organization, and influence internal stakeholders in order to move projects forward.
    • A team player who is just as comfortable crafting and leading the strategy, as you are rolling up your sleeves and executing.
    • Strong project management skills; you are no stranger to spreadsheets, to-do lists, or deadlines.
    • A skilled multitasker, who is not only able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, but is also able to help prioritize the work across the team, and support the overall deliverables.
    • Collaboration skills: You will work with experts in various fields and are expected to bring ideas to the table.
    • A natural problem-solver: You don’t take no for an answer – you are able to navigate roadblocks and pride yourself on being solution-oriented.
    • Fluent in English, in both verbal and written communication.
    • Experience working on a global team: This position requires flexibility to work within European timezones, as needed.
