Swedish Medical Group is looking for Business Data Analyst (1.0 FTE, Day SHIFT) to work in the Central Business Svcs at Swedish Medical Group in Seattle,WA.

To ensure effective administration over the receipt, update and delivery of system-wide table maintenance for integrated network operations throughout Swedish Physician Division.

In this position you will:

• Assist in establishment of data administration policies, procedures and standards; ensuring the maintenance of each.
• Support departmental and technical staff in the development of strategies for storing and accessing existing data sets.
• Perform testing requirements related to table maintenance for each software upgrade. This includes developing test scenarios, verifying tests were successful and accepted by insurance carriers, and reporting software problems to Information Technology or software vendor.
• Monitor system tables and work closely with other departmental staff to ensure insurance information is accurate.
• Work closely with software vendor and Information Technology department to identify and resolve software issues pertaining to billing.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Coursework/Training Formal technical training, especially in data resource management principals
• 2 years progressively more responsible work experience in a health care office environmentExperience in data
• Experience in data control functions

Preferred qualification for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Computer Science
