Bolt is seeking a data driven and team oriented People Operations Specialist to help us grow a world-class People Operations team that is responsible for providing a high-quality support experience to employees. This role will work in close partnership with functions such as HRBP, Employee Experience, Talent, and Learning & Development. As a People Operations Specialist, you will implement processes that support our immigration and relocation practices and support various processes across the employee lifecycle. You are passionate about People Operations and committed to providing high-quality service to all those you interact with. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, People Operations.

Responsibilities:

    • U.S. immigration experience (non-immigrant visas and green cards). This includes knowledge in U.S. visa types, processes and experience reviewing case facts to determine the optimal filing type, acting as point of contact of visa/ immigration information for internal stakeholders and candidates, working with our outside immigration counsel for visa processing needs, assisting eligible relocating employees with supporting document, and documenting and reviewing/auditing of I-9’s, immigration data, processes, and policies.
    • Manage the relationship with external vendors, owning regular touchpoints to ensure that they continue to provide quality customer service.
    • Support the broader People Operations Team with day-to-day administration, employee inquiries, and implementation of mobility initiatives.
    • Maintain mobility data in HiBob and other systems.
    • Support the new hire experience. This includes, but is not limited to, onboarding logistics, compliance tasks, and building strong partnership with other internal teams.
    • Support day-to-day administration and employee inquiries.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Recruiting, Payroll and Legal to identify and help diagnose various people challenges and design effective solutions.
    • Collect data on payroll outputs, employment records, and exit interviews.
    • Analyze data and statistics for trends with regard to recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.

Requirements:

    • A minimum of two year's experience in a similar role.
    • Experience using human resource management systems (HRIS).
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations.
    • Familiarity with HR operations, such as hiring, payroll, and employee benefits.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • An immense focus on customer service and relationship building.
    • An in-depth understanding of labor laws.
